Memorial Hospital has adopted an internal grievance procedure providing prompt and equitable resolution of complaints alleging any actions prohibited by section 1557 of the affordable care act. Any person who believes someone has been subjected to discrimination may file a grievance under this procedure.

It is against the law for memorial hospital to retaliate against anyone who opposes discrimination, files a grievance, or participates in the investigation of a grievance.

Grievances must be submitted, in writing, within 60 days of the date the person becomes aware of the alleged discriminatory action. The process of a grievance investigation is available for review from the office of customer relations.
