President/CEO Kent G. Nicaud
Mr. Nicaud has more than 25 years healthcare management experience from both the private sector and non-profit arena. He has held consulting services contracts with hospitals located in Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. He has been working with Memorial Hospital at Gulfport on a consulting basis since 1996, and as an employee since 2008. In 2010, he was named Chief Operating Officer and became President and CEO in 2018. He attended Tulane University for undergraduate and graduate studies through their executive MBA program.

Senior Vice President, Patient Care Services - Chief Nursing Officer
Jennifer H. Dumal, RN, BSN, MPH

Mrs. Dumal has served as Chief Nursing Officer since 1999. Mrs. Dumal began her career at Memorial in 1978. She received her Associate Degree in Nursing in 1982 from Mississippi Gulf Coast Junior College. In 1991, she received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing from the University of South Alabama and her master’s degree in Public Health from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1999.

Chief Financial Officer Mark Wack, CPA, MBA
Mr. Wack joined Memorial Hospital with a background of more than 30 years’ experience in business, accounting and administration with extensive experience specifically in healthcare finance and business development. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Southern Mississippi and Master of Business Administration from William Carey College.

Chief Medical Officer Mark A. Gilbert, MD
Dr. Gilbert provides physician support on operational and patient care matters and works in cooperation with the VP-Patient Care/Quality/Satisfaction/Safety on performance improvement matters. He is a graduate of the University of South Florida College of Medicine in Tampa. He completed his internship in General Surgery at Jacksonville Health Education Program University Hospital, and his residency in Emergency Medicine at Orlando Regional Medical Center. Dr. Gilbert is board certified in Emergency Medicine.

Chief Medical Information Officer Dr. Michael S. Wiederhold
Dr. Wiederhold joined Memorial Hospital with over 20 years of healthcare experience. He started his healthcare career as a hospital volunteer, then became an Emergency Medical Technician-Intermediate, and from there rose through the healthcare ranks. He has previously been named to Becker's Rising Stars: 25 Healthcare Leaders Under 40 list. In addition to his CMIO responsibilities, Dr. Wiederhold has executive responsibilities for all of Population Health. Dr. Wiederhold holds a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medicine Sciences; Master of Public Health from Tulane University; Master of Science in Emergency Health Services from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County; and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Emory University. Dr. Wiederhold is a Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality, Patient Safety, Healthcare Risk Management, and Healthcare Information & Management Systems, as well as being a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.

Chief Administrative Officer April LaFontaine, FACHE, MBA, CPC
Mrs. LaFontaine has over 20 years Healthcare Financial Management experience. April graduated Summa Cum Laude with a double major bachelor’s degree in business management and Business Administration, and earned her Master’s Degree in Business Administration. April earned her Fellow distinction in 2013 through the American College of Healthcare Executives (ACHE), participates in several other professional affiliations including AAPC through which she is a certified professional coder, and serves as a board member representing the southern region of MS Healthcare Executives. April launched her financial career in the collections sector and started her healthcare journey in Louisiana serving in multiple leadership positions before ultimately landing at Memorial where she served as Vice President of Revenue Cycle before moving into her current role as Chief Administrative Officer where she is responsible for managing facilities, safety, security, all aspects of the health systems revenue cycle compliance and billing processes, the organization’s strategic priorities as well as continued business development and strategic growth.

Vice-President, Patient Care/Quality/Satisfaction/Safety Kathy Ladner, MSN, RN, CAN
Mrs. Ladner began her career at Memorial Hospital in 1984. Prior to becoming Vice President, she served as Director of Cardiac/Critical Care Services, Manager of Intensive Care Unit and Cath Lab, Unit Nurse. Mrs. Ladner graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a Bachelor of Science in 1984 and earned her master’s degree in 1993. Mrs. Ladner is credentialed as a Nurse Executive NE-BC by Accreditation Board for Specialty Nursing Certification.

Vice-President, Human Resources Myron S. McCoo, JD
Mr. McCoo joined Memorial with more than 20 years Human Resources experience, and he is responsible for the HR vision, leadership, strategy and operations to support business needs and strategic initiatives. He works collaboratively with Administration and is responsible for the administrative supervision of Human Resources, Employee Relations, Compensation and Benefits, Employee Health, Professional Development, Diversity and Inclusion, and Human Resource Information System (HRIS). Mr. McCoo received his Bachelor of Arts in Government from the University of Texas, his Master’s in Religion and Organizational Development from Harvard University, and his law degree from Indiana University School of Law with a focus on labor and employment law.

Vice President, Marketing & Community Relations Angie Juzang
Ms. Juzang joined Memorial with an extensive background in marketing, public relations and community outreach. As vice president, she is responsible for managing internal, external and media-specific communications, implementation of various advertising platforms, coordination of corporate and community relations, as well as administrative oversight of Memorial 's gift shop, and serves as public information officer. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Georgia State University.

Vice President, General Counsel Haley Zelenka, JD
Ms. Zelenka has oversight responsibility for the Corporate Compliance and HIPAA functions, as well as contract management. She also provides legal advice on a variety of administrative and operational matters to the Administrative team. Most of these matters include recurring agreements/contracts, interpretations of personnel labor laws, and other operating issues. Ms. Zelenka attended Mississippi State University for her undergraduate work, and the University of Mississippi for her law degree.

Vice President, Clinic Operations Matthew Walker, RN, MSN-MBA
Mr. Walker has twenty years of diverse inpatient and outpatient healthcare management experience, focused primarily on operational growth. He provides strategic focus to the now more than 100 Memorial Physician Clinics, helping improve population health management and physician operating efficiencies under value-based payment initiatives. He received his nursing degree from Auburn University and master’s degrees from Samford University.

Vice President/Chief Information Officer Chris Belmont
Mr. Belmont joined Memorial with more than 35 years’ executive leadership, business development, and consulting experience in healthcare and information technology, most recently as Executive Vice President – Operations and Strategy at the HCI Group/Tech Mahindra in Jacksonville, and Chief Executive Officer at Intelligent Retinal Imaging Systems in Pensacola. In addition, Belmont has previously served as Vice President and Chief Information Officer at the University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston as well as System Vice President and Chief Information Officer at Ochsner Health System, New Orleans. He led the EMR transformation projects at both organizations while transforming the Information Services divisions to be tightly aligned with the organization’s vision, direction and outcomes. He holds a BS and MBA from Southeastern Louisiana University in Hammond, LA.

Chief Administrative Officer Memorial Hospital at Stone County Kevin Holland, MSHA, MBA
Mr. Holland joined Memorial Hospital with over 25 years of healthcare management experience with a focus on strategy, growth, and leadership development. He has held executive positions in private and public hospitals in Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi. Mr. Holland has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Mississippi State University, as well as an MBA and a Master of Science in Health Administration from the University of Alabama-Birmingham. He is responsible for the operations, growth, and strategic direction of the recently acquired Memorial Hospital at Stone County.

Administrator, Memorial Woodland Village Nursing Center Joshua Bryan
Mr. Bryan has 16 years’ experience in Long-Term Care Administration in Arkansas, Washington, DC, and Mississippi. He holds a license in Arkansas and Mississippi and is also a Certified Risk Management Specialist and Certified Aging in Place Specialist. The goal at Memorial Woodland Village Nursing Center is to provide the highest level of care possible for their residents.

Administrator, Memorial Driftwood Nursing Center Rhonda Seidule, LNHA, RRT
Ms. Seidule is the Administrator of Driftwood Nursing Center. Ms. Seidule has a diverse background in patient care and regulatory compliance. Her experience includes direct patient care as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT). During her 20-year respiratory career, she worked as a consultant for multiple Long-Term Care (LTC) facilities covering the states of Mississippi and Tennessee, specializing in developing and managing several trach units. Ms. Seidule is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA).

Administrator, Memorial Stone County Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Roxann Davidson, LNHA
Mrs. Davidson is the administrator of Memorial Stone County Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a Skilled Nursing Facility specializing in the care of patients in need of short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing services. The center also offers a dedicated unit for Alzheimer’s and Dementia Care. Mrs. Davidson has over 20 years healthcare experience and is licensed by the Mississippi Board of Nursing Home Administrators.

Vice President, Regional Business and System Development Chas Pierce, MPH
Mr. Pierce contributes to Memorial market share by developing relationships with external entities, as well as expanding the telehealth program. He has 14 years of healthcare management experience in revenue cycle, outpatient clinics, ambulatory surgery centers, and operations. He received his Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training, and his Master of Public Health, with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration, from the University of Southern Mississippi.

Senior Director, Senior Care Kyle Lewis, LNHA, MS, RD, LD
Mr. Lewis is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) who oversees the daily operational activities of three nursing care facilities. He evaluates the residents’ needs and implements strategies for growth and coordination of resources to best meet those needs. He focuses on the overall success of the centers and upholds the highest level of compliance regarding all state and federal regulatory guidelines.

President, Memorial Hospital Foundation Aimee Robertson, JD
Mrs. Robertson joined Memorial in 2018 with a background of more than 12 years in finance and business. She oversees the operations of the Memorial Hospital Foundation, which develops relationships and financial resources to support the patients, employees, and healthcare initiatives of Memorial. Aimee holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Mississippi State University, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Mississippi School of Law.
