Depending on the need, we have a team of physical, occupational, and speech therapists dedicated to getting you on the right road to recovery. Memorial’s team of therapists work with patients of all ages.
Inpatient Services
We offer acute care services as well as inpatient rehab services for patients.
Acute Care
Memorial’s acute care rehabilitation goal is to improve the patient’s overall functional status and prevent physical and cognitive complications. Therapy can be essential in the aid of recovery after an illness or injury.

Inpatient Rehab Services
Memorial partners with Encompass Health Rehabilitation for inpatient rehab. We use an interdisciplinary team approach to include the patient’s doctor, registered nurses, case managers, dietitians, physical, speech, and occupational therapists.
Inpatient rehabilitation often sets the tone of a patient’s quality of life for years to come. If you ore a loved one are ever in this situation, you can take comfort knowing that Memorial’s Inpatient Rehabilitation is accredited by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) and staffed by our team of specialists to provide quality care for individuals recovering from conditions such as:
- stroke
- neuromuscular disorders
- orthopedic and musculoskeletal disorders
- amputation
- spinal cord injury
- brain injury
Patients receive at least three hours of therapy five days per week. We strive to help patients reach their goals by providing them with personalized treatment plans.
Outpatient Rehabilitation Services
Memorial offers outpatient rehabilitation services to Harrison, Stone and Jackson Counties.
Physical Therapy
Our physical therapy services include, but are not limited to:

Speech Therapy
Our speech therapy services include, but are not limited to,:
- articulation therapy

Occupational Therapy

Pediatric Rehabilitation Services
We also offer specialized occupational therapy services to children. The type of pediatric therapy can help treat a wide range of conditions. These include:

- sensory motor disorders
- Down’s syndrome
- cerebral palsy
- other neurological, fine motor or visual delay conditions
We can help provide instruction in feeding, eating and dressing, strengthen hand and upper extremities, improve handwriting skills, aid recovery from an injury or help better manage daily routines.
