Memorial Diagnostic Imaging offers the only fixed PET/CT unit on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. PET/CT is the latest and most accurate tool to identify cancer, heart disease and brain disorders.

Positron Emission Tomography (PET) and anatomical information acquired from Computed Tomography (CT) result in an incredibly clear, non-invasive look inside your body. PET/CT offers highly defined, 3-D images generated by two scanners that are fused into one unit.

This whole-body imaging procedure can detect and monitor most cancers, including lung, colorectal, lymphoma, and breast. It is also used in the diagnosis of neurological disorders, including Alzheimer Disease.
