Outpatient Program

Memorial Behavioral Health’s Options Program is designed for adults who require comprehensive, multidisciplinary treatment for mental, behavioral or dual diagnosis problems.

Our Options Program includes many of the same major diagnostic, medical, psychiatric, psychosocial and educational treatment components that are provided during inpatient treatment. Participants live at home and take part in a full schedule of therapeutic activities, providing cost-effective treatment in the most flexible and least restrictive environment.

Partial Day Program

The Memorial Behavioral Health Partial Program is designed for patients with symptoms that significantly interfere with their social, behavioral, vocational or educational functioning. Participants in the Partial Program receive a full schedule of therapeutic services without the intensive 24-hour confinement of inpatient care.

  • Individualized treatment plan
  • Comprehensive medical and psychiatric evaluation
  • Family, group and individual therapy
  • Couples counseling
  • Stress management
  • Dual Diagnosis education and treatment
  • Art, music activities and leisure skills training
  • Discharge and aftercare planning

Each individual who enters the program meets with our highly skilled professional staff which includes a psychiatrist, social worker, psychiatric nurse and a therapeutic recreation specialist. The staff then develops an individualized treatment plan whereby a daily schedule of therapy groups and activities may begin.

Choosing the Right Program

The Partial Program addresses symptoms that interfere with daily functioning without removing participants from routine obligations. Individuals who may benefit from the Memorial Options Program include those suffering from anxiety, depression, dual diagnosis and behavioral disorders. Only a qualified assessment can determine suitability for the Options Program.

Getting Help

Admissions into the Memorial Behavioral Health Option Program can be through transition from inpatient care or directly from a referral source outside the hospital. Treatment programs are designed to allow the referring psychiatrist, physician, psychologist or psychotherapist as much input and participation in treatment planning as desired. Referral sources may also include employers, employee assistance programs, community agencies or families.
