Our Commitment

Employees are the most important assets here at Memorial. We depend on our employees to display an image of competence and human warmth, with understanding, true concern and a positive attitude. This ensures excellent service to each and every patient.

Our History

Memorial Hospital was established in 1946 with 139 beds. Since then we have grown to a facility with more than 400 beds, satellite outpatient diagnostic centers, more than 90 Memorial Physician Clinics, and more than 3,700 employees - and we are continuing to grow. Memorial Hospital is not just a hospital, but an integral part of health care for the entire Gulf Coast. For 70 years Memorial Hospital has served South Mississippi with a growing network of comprehensive health care, health education, health risk assessments and wellness services which are more accessible now than ever before.
