Memorial Diagnostic Imaging provides a complete range of specialized tests and diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with the highest quality images. Memorial utilizes Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS) which allows images to be stored electronically. Images go straight to computers to be reviewed, enabling the radiologist to read the scan sooner and the patient to receive a diagnosis more quickly.
Diagnostic Center Opens in Acadian Plaza
Memorial has opened an outpatient Diagnostic Center at Acadian Plaza, located in Orange Grove at 12261 Highway 49 North, Suite 12, Gulfport. The new Diagnostic Center provides imaging procedures including X-ray, DEXA/Bone Density, Digital Mammography, Ultrasound and Computed Tomography scans, and laboratory services. The Diagnostic Center is open Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m., and can be reached at (228) 575-2150 (fax 575-2155). The Diagnostic Center is adjacent to the new Memorial Physician Clinic in Suite 11.
Diagnostic Imaging Suite
Memorial's Diagnostic Imaging Suite, located on the first floor of the Memorial Medical Office Building, Suite 150, features advanced diagnostic imaging services, including PET/CT, CT Scans, a radiology room (X-ray), ultrasound, and a C-Arm. Memorial Diagnostic Imaging offers patients the only fixed PET/CT unit on the Coast. This in-house unit allows appointments to be scheduled five days a week.
